Ioannis Balaskas is an architect, valuator and expert witness. He studied architecture at the University of Sheffeld in the United Kingdom. He worked for Christian Garnett in London, Jacques Galand and Michel Stricklesse in Brussels. He trained as an expert witness at the Association Belge des Experts in Belgium and the Academy of Experts in the UK.
The practice, set up in 2013, provides construction expertise and valuation services.
Clients include Actiris, Bruxelles-Propreté, Bruxelles-Recyclage, Bruxelles-Energie, Société régional d’investissement de Bruxelles, Société de Développement pour la Région de Bruxelles-Capitale (Citydev), Société publique d’administration des bâtiments scolaires bruxellois (SPABS), Agence immobilière sociale Hector Denis, Chambre nationale des huissiers de justice, Ordre des pharmaciens; many private companies, commonhold tenures and private clients; as well the Courts of Law and Tribunals of the Kingdom of Belgium for appointments as a single joint expert witness.
Eleni Kathrepta joined the practice as an assistant in September 2021. She holds a Diploma in architecture from the University of Patras in Greece and was awarded a Master in Exhibit and Public Design by the Sapienza University of Rome in Italy. Before joining the practice, Eleni worked for architect Tanguy Maisin in Brussels.
